Data Collection with a smartphone

FAQs

What/Who is considered a user?
There are two types of User in the Baotree system:
1. A data collector using the mobile app 
2. An administrator added to the administrative dashboard. Data collectors are added by phone number, while administrators are added by email address
Note: A person in your organisation can be both a data collector and an administrator, and they will count as two users.
What happens when I need to add more users?
Users can be added as administrators or as data collectors via the administrative dashboard. The system charges based on the number of users added. Each plan includes a specific amount of users and only after passing this threshold will you pay more per additional user.
Does Baotree integrate with 3rd party apps?
Currently, Baotree does not directly integrate with third-party apps.
How do the initial pilots work?
Baotree collaborates with you to select an impact objective and pilot project.  Together, we establish data collection needs, configure these into Baotree’s platform, train your team and the pilot goes live.
What’s included in my pilot?
The pilot includes the software and data tools for data administration and collection. Support services are priced if additional data strategy support or platform set up is required.
Can I upgrade or downgrade/switch plans at any time?
Yes, but the change will take effect at the start of the new billing period.
Am I locked into a contract?
No, there is flexibility in establishing the period for running projects.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit card payments and bank transfers are accepted.
Do I need to enter credit card info to sign up?
No, credit card information is not required for signing up.
Are there any setup fees?
No, unless you would like support from our expert team costed based on your requirements.
Are there any hidden fees?
We do not play hide and seek with our customers!
Can I pay quarterly or even yearly?
Yes, billing timelines can be established before going live with the pilot. Get in touch to learn about our upfront annual discounts.
Will my data be private and safe?
Yes, data is securely stored in the cloud on the same services used by silicon valley's household brands/companies.
Can I cancel my account at any time?
Yes, but the account remains active until the end of the billing period. Data can be downloaded and migrated before account closure.
